Los pies que habitan este suelo
(The Feet that Dwell on This Ground)
Sound installation and performance, 2025
An immersive sound installation and performance exploring the intimate dialogue between movement, memory, and space through the lens of Argentine tango. Using contact microphones, this piece transforms a dance floor into a living instrument.
The installation evokes a milonga after hours: dimly lit, intimate, hushed. Three small tables with white flowers face the floor, their six chairs inviting visitors to sit, listen, and witness. But this is also an invitation to participate. The floor is always active, responding to both performers and audience members who choose to step onto it.
